When my small town ran out of performance opportunities, I started writing. In seventh grade, I joined the screenwriting club, and ever since then have been scribbling down scripts, plays, poems, and more.

 

Writing has grown to be my favorite part of the theatre and film process and an avenue I’m eager to pursue. Furthermore, the skills I’ve developed through my hands-on engagement with written text have improved my analysis skills allowing me to make more informed directing, dramaturgical, and design decisions.
